lyrics
Shake and rattle as we stack the gold
And revel with glee
Not for nothing, we will always grow
And do as we please
We've led men straight to their grave
But we feel no blame
We feign glow and masquerade
But we show no shame
Prey and dine while our worries wane from wine
What's yours is mine
No denying we befit the throne
It's our destiny
So we're smiling in our golden homes
A grand place to be
Our minds are fine they ossify
In cycles of greed
Save the divine, all ebbs with time
So how will you plea?
Complacency is futile in the fade
Everyone jump down a hole
Few can see this and the rest they are remiss
These days indifference gets really old
Prey and dine while our worries wane from wine
What's yours is mine
US Stoner Doom / Rock. This singer has such a raspy voice it is addictive! Plus the grooves & beats are just out of this world! Slow & easy... :) Sometimes I need that! Thanks GHB! Highly recommended! bmurator
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
Two new songs from the Nashville musician (and drummer in Sad Baxter) reveal a talent for rock hooks and anthemic power pop aesthetics. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 11, 2022
If it's trippy spaced out psyche you want. This band has that in abundance.
Sounds like a cross between, LOOP, Wooden Shjips at their heaviest, Spacemen 3 at their trippy-est and Hawkwind at their trance-iest, with a hefty sprinkling of J&MC. Also has a great goth vibe about it.
What a fine Band. jazzberto
